Who is The Veteran Alliance Bank?
The Veteran Alliance Bank (A Division of Texana Bank) is a national, boutique, full-service FDIC-insured bank built exclusively for the military and veteran community, exclusive by the veteran community—because Uncle Sam broke us, and rebuilt us in his image. As such, we are different. We think different. We speak different. We operate different. Writing your will at 18 tends to give you a different outlook on life and the world. YOLO becomes the SOP and that doesn't exactly align with the typical financial strategies, or how standard banking products are designed.
Here's the special sauce: We believe your finances are personal, and why we're built on a personal banker model... and focused on taking care of our people. Personal Bankers used to be reserved for people with seven figures sitting in their account. Not with us! Your service (not your net worth) is your entry fee. Becoming a Member
Becoming a Member is a two step process: Matchmaking and the INDOC.
Match Making
We don't just assign you to whoever's available like you're getting voluntold for a detail. We built a matchmaking system (similar to a dating app) that pairs you with a personal banker based on shared mindset, location, expertise, and your financial goals. You'll interview your top matches, pick the one that fits, and voilà! That's your dedicated guy/gal for the next 20+ years.
Once matched, we'll request a whole slew of documents from you (or you can use our APIs—which we highly recommend) like mortgage statements, insurance dec pages, and account info so we can identify opportunities to save you money, restructure your debt profile, spot coverage gaps, and more.
INDOC Meeting
Once we have your docs, we kick off your Personal INDOC—a deep-dive meeting where your banker gets to know you better, understands your dreams and goals, and does a comprehensive review of your entire financial position: credit, insurance, debt, loans, retirement, and whether you actually have a trust or will (most don't). We end the INDOC by building a milestone-based plan to crush your goals and give your banker their marching orders.
For business owners, we do a separate Business INDOC covering your company's structure, growth plans, payroll, benefits, and exit strategy.
